    PROCESS & LAYERS

Terrazzo is a versatile material crafted by embedding marble chips, shells, recycled glass, or other decorative aggregates into a concrete or epoxy base.

For cement terrazzo, installers begin with a level concrete foundation, followed by a one-inch layer of sandy concrete. Divider strips are placed to separate colors or create patterns. A fine marble chip mixture — sometimes tinted — is then spread evenly before curing.

Epoxy terrazzo offers additional flexibility, allowing thinner layers, more vibrant colors, and quicker installation timelines — ideal for certain commercial and residential projects.

    TERRAZZO FLOOR DURABILITY

Polyacrylate terrazzo is UV-stable and can be used indoors and outdoors in Anaheim  without fading. Aggregate options include marble, mother of pearl, abalone shell, recycled porcelain, and metal. Decorative medallions or shapes can be created on site or cut off-site with water jet precision.

Once installed, the surface is ground to a smooth texture, filled to eliminate voids, and polished for a sleek finish. A protective sealant completes the process, ensuring long-term performance with minimal maintenance.
